ETMK - ENTAK Quality Policy
Aiming to increase the quality of industrial design education in Turkey, Industrial Designers’ Society of Turkey (ETMK) Industrial Design Accreditation Board (ENTAK) has adopted the principle of carrying out its work in line with the philosophy of continuous improvement and total quality and meeting the expectations of higher education institutions offering industrial design education. To sustain the quality of the services at the highest level, ETMK-ENTAK will adhere to the following values.
Service Focus: ETMK officials, volunteers and ENTAK members establish and maintain a respectful and service-oriented relationship with all institutions they serve. They are sensitive to the current needs and expectations of these institutions, and they are well aware that the quality of the services they provide will be judged by those receiving these services.
Continuous Learning: Continuous learning is a prerequisite for continuous improvement. Therefore, ETMK and ENTAK continuously learn from their own activities and performance as well as from the experiences of other similar institutions. The development of employees and volunteers is supported and encouraged in a way that creates an environment where they realize and use their full potential. Reviewing all accreditation processes of institutions and taking them under control with corrective and preventive activities has been determined as the primary area of responsibility.
Value Adding: : ETMK and ENTAK provide services that will create added value for their stakeholders, primarily the institutions they serve. The added value of the service is monitored through direct feedback. In particular, ENTAK evaluation teams try to provide useful feedback for the continuous improvement of industrial design education and the evaluation process.
Developing Partnerships: Maximizing the value of a service offered and increasing success depend on developing collaborations. Therefore, ETMK seeks and develops collaboration opportunities with national and international organizations. For a sustainable partnership, it is essential that goals are agreed upon; that experience, resources and knowledge are shared; and that relations based on cooperation, trust, respect and openness are established among partners.
Ethical Conduct: ETMK officials and volunteers have adopted a high level of ethical approach, being transparent and accountable as individuals who are responsible towards all ETMK stakeholders. Therefore, ETMK officials and volunteers avoid any conflict of interest within the framework of ETMK-ENTAK Ethical Rules and behave professionally.
